How do we get to Siyam World?
Two routes: a 40-minute seaplane direct from Malé's Velana International Airport, or a 30-minute domestic flight to Maafaru International Airport followed by a 15-minute speedboat transfer. Sun Siyam operates its own airport lounge with refreshments and shower facilities, including an exclusive lounge at the seaplane terminal.
What does the WOW All-Inclusive plan actually cover?
It routes meals through specific venues rather than every restaurant on the island: breakfast at Baraabaru or Tempo, lunch at Tempo, Together, Shipwrecked or Jungali, afternoon tea at Together, and a 'Dine Around The World' dinner choosing between six specialty restaurants or the buffet. Premium beverages and snacks run 24/7 at KulhiVaru, and Jungali, Together, Mint Beach Bar, KulhiVaru, Shipwrecked, Good Vibrations and The Orchid are all included bars.
Is Siyam World good for families, or is it adults-focused?
Both, deliberately. Kidz World runs daily from 09:00 to 22:00 for ages 3 to 11.99, with arts and crafts, games, movie rooms and a soft-play space for under-3s, and babysitting can be arranged with 24 hours' notice. Mint Beach Bar, by contrast, is adults-only — the resort keeps the two circuits separate rather than mixing them.
What's the house reef like?
Siyam World's factsheet doesn't describe a house reef directly, and no UNESCO biosphere status is claimed for the island. The resort's on-property marine infrastructure centres on an SSI-certified Dive Centre and the Kuhivaru wreck site, so snorkelling and diving here run through organised sessions rather than a walk-in reef at the villa steps.
What comes with a Residences villa that a standard villa doesn't?
The Residences is a 23-villa sub-collection drawn from the Two Storey Pool Beach Residence, Grand Beach Residence, Two and Four Bedroom Beach Residences, and Grand Water Pavilion categories. It adds all-day in-villa breakfast, lunch and dinner at Arigato, an enhanced beverage package, complimentary late check-out subject to availability, a one-time floating breakfast, and — for the Grand Water Pavilion and the two- and four-bedroom Beach Residences — a Moke car for the length of the stay.
