Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the basis on which IMJ Travels (“IMJ”) provides travel consultancy services to clients. By engaging IMJ for travel planning or booking services, you agree to these terms.

Our Services

IMJ provides bespoke travel consultancy, resort curation, villa placement, transfer coordination, and pre-arrival planning services. IMJ acts as an agent for clients in relation to resort bookings and does not provide travel insurance, flights, or legal advice.

Bookings and Confirmation

A booking is confirmed once IMJ receives written confirmation from the client and a deposit or full payment has been received by the resort or supplier, as applicable. IMJ will issue a written confirmation of all bookings made on your behalf.

All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of the individual resort or supplier, including their cancellation policies. IMJ will communicate these terms clearly before confirming any booking.

Pricing

All prices quoted by IMJ are based on information provided by resorts and suppliers at the time of enquiry. Prices may change until confirmed by the resort. IMJ will notify clients of any material price change before proceeding with a booking.

IMJ earns through standard industry booking fees paid by resorts. These fees are not charged to the client in addition to the resort price — you pay the same rate as you would booking direct.

Cancellations and Amendments

Cancellation policies are set by individual resorts and suppliers. IMJ will communicate the applicable cancellation policy at the time of booking. Cancellation fees may apply and are detailed in your booking confirmation.

IMJ will make reasonable efforts to accommodate amendment requests, subject to availability and any costs imposed by the resort or supplier.

Travel Insurance

IMJ strongly recommends that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance prior to travel, including coverage for cancellation, medical expenses, and travel disruption. IMJ does not provide travel insurance and is not liable for losses that would be covered by appropriate insurance.

Accuracy of Information

IMJ takes care to ensure that resort descriptions, photography, and information on this website are accurate at the time of publication. However, resort facilities, services, and pricing are subject to change. IMJ will provide current information at the time of your consultation.

Limitation of Liability

IMJ acts as an agent in the arrangement of travel services. IMJ is not the supplier of accommodation, transport, or activities, and is not liable for any failure, deficiency, or change in services provided by third-party suppliers. IMJ's liability is limited to the booking fees earned in connection with the affected booking.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Maldives. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Maldives.
