Beach Villa
The entry point on Rangali-Finolhu — garden and beach, no private pool, for guests who'd rather put the difference toward the restaurants or the transfer.
1 bedroom · No private pool · Beachfront, Rangali-Finolhu Island
Two natural islands joined by a 500-metre bridge, home to the world's first undersea restaurant and residence, in South Ari Atoll waters where whale sharks are sighted year-round.

Conrad Maldives Rangali Island spans two natural islands linked by a 500-metre bridge — Rangali-Finolhu's family-facing villas and clubs, Rangali's quieter, adults-exclusive-adjacent side. It's the site of the world's first undersea restaurant, Ithaa, and the world's first undersea residence, The Muraka. South Ari Atoll's house reef sits 50 metres from the beach, with year-round whale shark encounters among the region's rare draws.

The factsheet
Every fact we hold on Conrad Maldives Rangali Island (villas, dining, transfers) in one document.
Ithaa's tasting menu, the Aaraha Champagne Bar at sunset, and Rangali Island's quieter, adults-exclusive-adjacent water villas give couples real separation from the family side of the resort.
Majaa Explorers Club and the Furaavaru Teens' Club run across ages 3 to 16 on Rangali-Finolhu, with multi-bedroom beach suites and water villas built for exactly this kind of group.
South Ari Atoll's year-round whale shark encounters, 42 dive sites, and a house reef 50 metres from the beach make this one of the more serious diving bases in the Maldives, not just a resort with a dive shop attached.

How long is the transfer from Male, and how does it work?
The resort is roughly 30 minutes from Velana International Airport by seaplane, with flights operating daily between 6:00 AM and 3:30 PM. Guests are met at the airport and hosted in the Conrad Lounge until their flight is called.
What dining options does the resort offer?
Conrad Maldives Rangali runs 12 separate dining concepts, from the all-day Atoll Market to the undersea Ithaa and the two-metre-underground Wine Cellar. Breakfast, lunch and dinner service each run at multiple venues rather than one central restaurant, so a week here rarely repeats a table twice.
Is Rangali suitable for families, or is it adults-only?
Neither exclusively — the resort runs across two islands, and it's designed that way on purpose. Rangali-Finolhu carries the family energy, with the Majaa Explorers Club (ages 3–12) and the Furaavaru Teens' Club (ages 12–16), while Rangali Island sits closer to the resort's adults-exclusive-adjacent spaces. Families and couples travelling together can be placed on the island that suits them.
How good is the house reef?
The house reef is close and rated highly — around 50 metres from the beach, with 42 dive sites within reach by boat. South Ari Atoll is also one of the few places in the world where whale sharks are encountered year-round, which is the bigger draw for many divers here.
What is The Muraka, and can we stay in it?
The Muraka is the resort's signature villa and the world's first undersea residence — a two-level property with an undersea master bedroom set more than 16 feet below the surface under a curved acrylic dome, two further bedrooms above sea level, a private underwater viewing theatre, and its own outdoor deck with infinity pool. It's a single villa, so availability is limited and worth checking as early as possible.
Do we need to book Ithaa in advance?
Ithaa is the world's first undersea restaurant, running three services a day — breakfast, lunch and dinner. IMJ books it as part of the itinerary rather than leaving it to a walk-in request at the resort.
