How do we get to You & Me Maldives, and how long does the transfer take?
The standard route is a 45-minute scenic seaplane journey from Velana International Airport, with private lounge access at the seaplane terminal on arrival. For evening arrivals, when seaplanes can't fly after dark, the resort offers an alternative: a 30-minute domestic flight to Ifuru Airport followed by a 20-minute speedboat transfer. We confirm which routing applies at the time of booking.
What does the Premium All-Inclusive plan cover, and can we eat at every restaurant?
The Premium All-Inclusive is the resort's core meal plan. Under its dine-around concept, guests can take lunch and dinner at any à la carte restaurant — The Sand, Rising Sun, Green Carpet, La Pasta or the Sushi Bar — plus breakfast at The Sand. The one exception is H2O by Andrea Berton, the fully submerged underwater restaurant, which sits outside the dine-around plan and is booked and charged separately. In-villa dining is also available.
Is You & Me Maldives suitable for children?
No — this is an adults-only island, restricted to guests aged 16 and over. It's built specifically for couples, honeymooners and groups of friends, with no kids' club or family programming on offer. Travelling with children under 16 isn't an option here; we'd steer family bookings toward a different island.
What's the reef and diving like at You & Me Maldives?
The resort markets itself as sitting near renowned diving and surfing locations in Raa Atoll, and runs its own on-site dive centre — though the factsheet doesn't name the dive operator or confirm a PADI/SSI affiliation, and house-reef quality isn't stated either. Complimentary non-motorised watersports (kayak, paddleboard) are available directly from the resort; for anything dive-specific, we confirm programme details and site access with the resort ahead of booking.
What's included in the villa rate, beyond the room itself?
Every villa comes with air conditioning, a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, minibar, tea/coffee-making facilities, a terrace or sundeck, and twice-daily maid service; pool-category villas add a private plunge or infinity pool. Resort-wide Wi-Fi is complimentary, as are non-motorised watersports (kayak, paddleboard) and use of the shared swimming pool and gym. Meals depend on the meal plan booked — see our Premium All-Inclusive answer above.
What makes the You & Me Suite different from the other villa categories?
It's the resort's single top-tier unit — 280 sqm, the only one of its kind — adding a private kitchen, a dedicated TV lounge, a recreation room with a personal gym, a massage table and an in-villa cinema, on top of its own private pool and signature water slide. Every other overwater and beach category tops out well below that footprint.
