2 adults + 1 child · Private plunge pool · Beachfront
A brand-new, all-in Lhaviyani Atoll island built around a Premium All-Inclusive plan and an unusually deep land-sports roster — an overwater padel court marketed as a world's first, a skate ramp and a mini-bowling lane sit alongside the more familiar reef, spa and underwater-dining programme.

Meyyafushi opened on 9 June 2026 on a natural island in Lhaviyani Atoll, 35 minutes by seaplane from Malé. Ninety-five pool villas span eleven categories across beach, semi-ocean and overwater settings, carried by a Premium All-Inclusive plan across seven restaurants and bars, with Bubble's underwater dining room and Sukun's teppanyaki counter available as pre-booked, additional-charge experiences alongside it. Kokko Kids Club and the adults-only Sky Lounge split the island after dark.

How do I get to Meyyafushi, and how long does the transfer take?
By seaplane only — 35 minutes from Velana International Airport with Manta Air. There's a short shuttle bus, around 5 minutes, from the arrivals area to the seaplane terminal before the flight. Meyyafushi's own materials don't describe a domestic-flight-plus-speedboat alternative, so seaplane is the sole transfer route today.
What does the Premium All-Inclusive plan cover?
Unlimited dining across the resort's seven restaurant and bar outlets — Fili, Thaana, Alif, Hatharu Dhan, Baa, Raagu and Sky Lounge & Sunken Seating — with a dine-around structure and a children's menu, plus unlimited beverages during operating hours (premium spirits, wine, Champagne, soft drinks and tea/coffee, one glass at a time for guests 18+). A daily-replenished in-villa mini bar, complimentary massages scaled to your stay length, group yoga and fitness-centre access, 1-4 complimentary excursions depending on how long you stay, one free padel session a day, and Kids Club access are all included. Bubble, Sukun and Raa carry an additional charge on top of the plan.
Is Meyyafushi suited to families, or is it more of a couples' island?
Both — the resort doesn't position itself as either family-only or adults-only. Kokko Kids Club runs an indoor playhouse, a pool-and-slide park, a mini sports court and babysitting services, with family-sized villas (the 2- and 3-Bedroom Beach Suites, 2-Bedroom Semi-Ocean Pool Villa and 2-Bedroom Water Pool Villa with Slide) built to match. For couples and adults travelling without children, Sky Lounge & Sunken Seating runs as an 18+ rooftop bar with its own glass-bottom infinity pool.
What's the reef and snorkelling like at Meyyafushi?
The resort's own materials mention a coral rejuvenation garden among its marine facilities and a guest-facing 'Adopt a Coral' programme (part of the group-wide Project Faru restoration effort), plus general snorkelling excursions — but there's no explicit house-reef description on the official site to confirm reef access or condition directly from the villas. Ask your consultant to confirm current reef access when booking.
Is Raa, the wine cellar, open yet?
Not as of the resort's own site — Raa is listed as 'opening soon,' with pre-booking required and an additional charge once it does. As a brand-new resort (opened 9 June 2026), a few outlets and services are still coming online; confirm Raa's status with your consultant closer to travel.
Which villa categories have a private pool, and which are best for families?
All eleven categories carry a private plunge pool — the difference is setting (beach, semi-ocean or overwater) and size. For families, the 2-Bedroom and 3-Bedroom Beach Suites, the 2-Bedroom Semi-Ocean Pool Villa and the 2-Bedroom Water Pool Villa with Slide are built for multiple bedrooms; three of the overwater categories add a pool slide.
