How do I get to Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, and how long does the transfer take?
It's a 20-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport. On the island, a resort shuttle buggy service covers ground transfers, and a 500-metre footbridge connects to The Marina @ CROSSROADS. Guests arriving by private boat can use the resort's complimentary berthing facilities at CROSSROADS Maldives, with 96 hours' advance notice required.
What's the house reef and snorkelling like?
The official site doesn't rate the house reef directly. Complimentary snorkelling equipment is provided, PADI 5-star courses and excursions run through Ocean Group for all levels, and five named surf breaks — Jailbreaks, Honky's, Sultans, Ninja's and Chickens — are reachable nearby. We check current reef and surf conditions with the resort before booking.
