Before you book

How do we get to Constance Halaveli, and how long does it take?

Halaveli sits in North Ari Atoll, about 25 minutes from Malé by seaplane on Trans Maldivian Airways. Guests arriving before 15:30 fly out the same day; anyone landing later is put up in a pre-booked Malé hotel and flown out the next morning. The resort also runs its own Funa Speedboat — twin 200hp engines, GPS-equipped — which takes about 1 hour 30 minutes and can run at night, worth asking for if a flight lands too late for the seaplane.

What meal plans or dining are available?

Four restaurants are spread across the island — Jahaz for all-day buffet dining, Jing for Asian fusion by dinner, Kaika Sushi Bar for lunch only, and Meeru Beach Grill for à la carte seafood and meats on the sand each evening. Two wine cellars, at Jahaz and Jing, hold more than 22,500 bottles across some 1,600 references between them. IMJ confirms which venues run on which nights before arrival, since Jing and Meeru Beach Grill each close one evening a week.

Is Constance Halaveli suited to families, or is it adults-only?

Families are genuinely catered for — Coconut Tribe runs daily for ages 4 to 11 around five themes, from eco-missions to mindfulness games, and a private babysitter can be arranged on request. Four of the six villa categories are built with families in mind: Family Beach Villa (with its own kids' room), Double Storey Beach Villa, Beach Villa 2 Bedrooms, and the Presidential Beach Villa.

How good is the diving and snorkelling at Halaveli?

TGI Diving Centre runs a full PADI programme with a multilingual instructor team, and a dedicated underwater photographer and videographer is available to book. Snorkelling equipment is complimentary for every guest, and the resort runs its own snorkelling excursions by boat; the factsheet doesn't describe the house reef's condition directly, so IMJ checks current reef reports with the resort before setting expectations.

What villa categories come with a private pool, and which is largest?

All six categories at Halaveli carry a private plunge pool. The 57 Water Villas — the largest category by far — each have a 3×4m pool on a 100 sqm overwater sun deck; the five beachfront categories run from the 9-villa Beach Villa up to the single Presidential Beach Villa, a two-storey, 700 sqm villa for up to six adults.

Is there a spa, and what treatments does it offer?

Constance Spa sits on stilts above the lagoon, with ocean views from every treatment room and an Ocean Salon for hair and beauty. Treatments draw on the Constance Spa Classic range and Sisley, the French skincare house exclusive to Halaveli within the Constance portfolio; there's also a resident Yoga Master, a gym open 24 hours a day on request, and a Spa Experience Card that tracks a guest's wellness goals across the stay. The spa runs daily from 11:00 to 20:00.
