Is the resort suited to families with children?
All six villa categories accommodate two adults plus one child and an infant (or three adults); the Sunset Lagoon Villa alone is built for two adults with two children. The factsheet doesn't name a dedicated kids' club or family-specific facility, so activities for younger children would need confirming directly with the resort before booking.
How good is the snorkelling?
The factsheet doesn't describe a house reef in detail, but the resort runs Coral Garden Snorkelling and Snorkelling with Manta Rays as group excursions, and Hanifaru Bay — a 20–25 minute speedboat ride away — brings manta season from May to November and whale sharks from August to November.
