Is Anantara Veli suitable for children?
No — Anantara Veli is adults-only. Its sister resort, Anantara Dhigu, sits on the neighbouring island under the same management and shares its restaurant brands, and is where IMJ sends families wanting the same lagoon and service standard with a kids' club.
How good is the house reef and diving here?
The Over Water Villas sit directly above a natural coral bed, and the resort's dive centre, Aquafanatics, runs snorkelling and diving across the lagoon — manta snorkelling from August to December, whale shark snorkelling year-round, and a dedicated nurse shark snorkelling excursion. The resort also runs a coral adoption programme, HARP, for guests who want to contribute to reef protection during their stay.
