Offshore trolling, jigging and popping for marlin, tuna, sailfish and dorado — a different boat and crew from the sunset hand-reel trip.

A dhoni or speedboat trip, usually timed to sunset, built around spotting wild dolphins — the most widely offered named excursion in the Maldives.

Structured group fitness beyond a yoga mat — HIIT, TRX, Pilates, boxing and circuit training, run out of the resort's own gym or fitness pavilion.
Floating & Aerial Yoga

Afternoon · for two, all ages
Jet ski, seabob, flyboard, parasail and wakeboard, rented or instructed through the resort's own watersports centre.

A chef's-choice Japanese tasting menu served at a dedicated counter — mechanically distinct from teppanyaki's grill theatre.

A spa treatment staged somewhere exclusive and built for two — an overwater or underwater treatment room, a private night ritual, a reef-view suite.

Complimentary or bookable yoga and meditation at sunrise or sunset, beachfront and often led by the resort's own resident yogi.
Teen Club / Lounge
Afternoon · all ages
A dedicated space or programme for teenagers, separate from the younger kids' club, with its own lounge and age-appropriate activities.
Themed Dining Night
Evening · for two, all ages
A recurring calendar dining event on a fixed weekly or monthly slot — a regional street-food market, a full-moon dinner, a Bedouin-tent evening.
Wine-Cellar Tasting & Pairing Dinner
Evening · for two
A guided tasting or private dinner held inside the resort's own wine cellar, hosted by a resident sommelier.
Before you book
How long is the transfer from Malé to St. Regis Maldives Vommuli, and how does it work?
A mandatory shared seaplane transfer, about 45 minutes from Velana International Airport, at USD 870 return per person. Guests arriving after 3:30pm need to overnight in Malé before flying out. A private yacht transfer aboard the resort's own Azimut Flybridge 66, Norma, is also available for a direct or overnight crossing.
Is St. Regis Maldives Vommuli suited to families, or is it adults-focused?
Families are well provided for — the Children's Club runs yoga, crafts, puzzles and games, with a curated programme for teens, and ALBA and the Crust & Craft pizzeria are both family-friendly. The Two Bedroom Ocean Villa and the larger Signature villas and estates sleep families or multi-generational groups. Couples travelling without children have the more secluded Garden and Overwater villas, and adults-oriented venues like Decanter's wine cellar and The Whale Bar.
What is the snorkeling and diving like at the resort?
The resort's coral reefs encircle the island, and the site describes it as a premier Maldives spot for both snorkeling and diving, with watersports including Seabob also available. The private lagoon and reef-fringed waters are used for both, though the resort's own materials don't use the specific term "house reef" for it.
What wellness and spa facilities are on site?
Iridium Spa is a 1,850 sqm overwater sanctuary with six treatment suites — two of them dedicated Ayurvedic suites with private steam rooms — running on Biologique Recherche products, with a resident Ayurvedic specialist and acupuncturist offering Shirodhara and acupuncture alongside massage and facials. The open-air Yogasala hosts yoga and anti-gravity yoga for up to eight guests, and there's a separate Yoga & Meditation Studio and TechnoGym fitness centre.
