A guided swim over the house reef, off the beach or a short boat ride out, with private, night and beginner variants at resorts that run their own dive centre.

A recurring calendar dining event on a fixed weekly or monthly slot — a regional street-food market, a full-moon dinner, a Bedouin-tent evening.
Wine-Cellar Tasting & Pairing Dinner
Evening · for two
A guided tasting or private dinner held inside the resort's own wine cellar, hosted by a resident sommelier.
Before you book
How do we get to Amilla Maldives?
Amilla sits in Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The resort is reached by a 35-minute seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport, or a shorter 15-minute transfer for guests connecting via a domestic flight into Dharavandhoo Airport. IMJ books whichever route matches your international arrival time.
Is Amilla suitable for families, and what does the Kids Club cover?
Yes — Amilla is a family-oriented resort with a dedicated Kids Club covering arts, crafts, games and outdoor play, plus a Mini Spa for Kids at Javvu Spa. Villa categories such as the Family Water Pool Villa and the multi-bedroom beach residences are built specifically for families, and the resort placed #2 on the Best Resorts for Families list in 2025.
How good is the house reef?
Amilla's Blue Hole snorkelling site sits directly on the house reef, with coral formations and reef fish accessible from the beach, and the resort placed #8 on the Luxury Awards Asia Pacific's Best House Reefs list in 2024. Hanifaru Bay, the seasonal manta ray and whale shark site, is a further 15 minutes away by boat.
